Change: The Pursuit of an 'Artist' Post Graduation.

I think I'm still in that amateur phase. I just graduated from a fine arts program at a local university. I'm an alumnus. Sounds a little fancy for me.  How to become an artist. Doesn't seem like something that you can teach. Go to art school. Get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Then you'll be the real deal.

I learned many fantastic things. The last four years were amazing, fascinating and truly inspiring. But I think what I lack is experience.

I've spent over half my life in school, 17 years of my life. Now the ball is in my court, and I can't seem to get it to roll, bounce...I can't even pick it up. It isn't as though this is the only thing in my life that's changing. Everything is. I'm not a fan of change, even though I know it is inevitable.

So hello blogosphere! Lets make things happen. I know there are more like ME out there.
Join me in the pursuit of creativity~

I'm not a fan of change. It's funny that I'm telling you this, as I write in a blog completely designed to awaken the comatose artist in me.

So let me serenade you with my life as a full-time cashier at a local pet store and as an artist in training. I promise you three posts a week, a guest artist every once in awhile and of course what I promise most of all is an itty-bitty bit of happiness tucked in every post. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with art.
